It may be hard to imagine, but Adriaansen hasn’t always been the renowned industrial packaging company it is today, offering over 350 clients in the Belux region made-to-measure service.

Paul Adriaansen started the business in 1984, using a spare room at home as an office. At first, he acted primarily as an agent for esteemed manufacturers Jokey and Schütz. The range gradually expanded and in 1994 Paul moved to an actual office, welcoming extra staff too.

But in 1996, both the company and the family suffered an enormous loss when Paul and his stepdaughter, also a key manager, died in a catastrophic car crash. A director ad interim was hired for continuity during these trying times.

Paul’s visionary leadership, however, lived on and when his son Christophe Adriaansen and Miguel Buytaert took office in 2005, focus shifted to distribution, seeing sales commissions were decreasing year after year.
Of course, carefully selecting premium quality products and establishing strong relationships with leading suppliers remained our USP; thanks to this genuine commitment we truly made a name for ourselves.

Acquiring our own 1,600 m2 warehouse enabled us to provide flexible solutions, going way beyond sales. Moving to Schelle in 2015 doubled our storage space and increased opportunities even more.

Our workmanship, leadership and exclusive partnerships form a solid base for future growth.
